To get to Usk from the M4, exit at Junction 24 (Celtic Manor Resort) and follow the A449 to Monmouth. After 8 miles, take the first exit to Usk.

From Usk town centre, turn onto Porthycarne Street (following directions to Abergavenny) at the Three Salmons Hotel and follow this road for 1.25 miles. At the sign: "Llancayo (40 MPH speed limit)", take the first turning after the speed limit sign on the left.There is a bell shaped entrance with electric security gates. Do not take the turning just beforehand, for Llancayo Court.

From Abergavenny (on the Monmouth Road/ A40) or from Hereford (on the A465) or from the Heads of the Valley Road (A465) drive to the Hardwick Roundabout, and follow directions for Monmouth, go under the railway bridge to the second part of the roundabout, exit off the slip road for Usk (B4598). Keep on the B4598 for approximately 7 mins, turn right at the Chart House pub, keep on the B4598, after approx 7 mins. drive, go over Chain Bridge on left, go past Alice Springs Golf course, after 5 minutes, go through LLANCAYO 40 mph sign, carry on 300 metres, see sign on the right bend, Llancayo House B&B, entrance is approx. 20 m. after this sign on the right.

Usk can be reached in 2.5 - 3 hours from Central London on the M4. Heathrow Airport is approximately a 2 hour drive. If you do not travel by car, hiring a car when you get here is recommended. The nearest railway stations are Abergavenny and Newport, the latter of which has direct and fast services to London Paddington departing at least once per hour.
